“The Allagash trip was the highlight of my summer. I was challenged to leave my comfort zone and try new things. It was a great experience, and it taught just how important it is to trust the Lord. I also made some great new friends, making the trip even more amazing. Can’t wait to go again next year!”
Ashley Grenier, Six Day Allagash Camper

“I learned how to tie a good knot, how to go down class III rapids, and how to have fun in rapids. I enjoyed going into Canada, fishing for Chub/ Bass/Trout, canoeing down rocky rapids, swimming, and sleeping in tents. I learned how to share a devotional and I was saved.”

“I can hardly put in words how elated we are with Clark's return.  He had told us before he left that he believed he would come back a different person and he has.  I am overwhelmed with the faithfulness of God.  How can we ever thank you for the incredible impact that you helped to make on him?  I was in tears so many times yesterday before he arrived just praising God for his faithfulness!  Please continue to keep him in your prayers as he tries to make the changes he wants to make.  He said that yesterday he deleted everyone out of his cell phone that could be a negative influence.  He tried to hang out for  a little while last night with some of the guys he has been hanging with and left feeling frustrated and disenchanted with it.  He really needs to find some Christian friends.  You made quite an impression on him and we are so thankful.”

“God showed me that no matter how hard trials can get, God is in control and he can help you through it. Take it one step at a time and it gets easier.” Casey Dorrity, Teen vs. Wild Camper

“This was an awesome trip! I learned so much! I realize how much God has created and how He took the time to make everything detailed! I can’t wait till next year!”

“I had so much fun on this trip! Basically everything you guys taught me I didn’t know before so that should explain it all. I came knowing literally no memory verses and know I know like six of them.”
Olivia Raymond, Junior Maine Guide/LIT Camper

“I learned the canoe strokes, more about God, and how to make fire. I enjoyed canoeing the most, but I also enjoyed the games and the fire making. God taught me that to get to Him you have to go through Jesus.” Eric Lindbom, Junior Survivor Camper (

“I enjoyed becoming one of God’s children on this trip. I became a child of God right after Tyler gave devotions at Hall’s Brook.” Dakota Wright, Junior Survivor Camper

“I learned a lot on this trip, both about camping/survival skills and about God’s creation. I loved the fact that I could learn about both at the same camp. The canoeing trip was a lot of fun, and I learned about teamwork and camping. I was inspired to memorize more bible verses when we memorized them from the checklist. This trip has been areal blessing.”
Abby Erlanson, Junior Maine Guide/LIT Week Camper

“I learned a lot. I learned how to canoe, to make fire, to trust other people, to go rump bumping, and to go through rapids. I learned about God and I’m going to use everything I learned in the future.”
Spencer, Junior Survivor Camper

“Just wanted to take a minute to let you know that we had an absolutely wonderful time on the St. Croix. It was a pleasure getting to know Tammi and her staff for this time on the river.  What a  pleasure it was to be on the river and to be with some amazing Christians.  Tammi does such a wonderful job, she is an amazing leader and everyone was more than willing to help us. After going on the trip, I sat down to do my devotions and read about Jesus, when he was headed to the boat that he didn't want the disciples to look at the rough water, he wanted them to focus on him.  Something like being on the river, we were to find the V and head for it, not looking at the waves beside us.  We all have gone through the waves but I think each person on the trip has had to rely on the Lord to get us through things.  It is amazing how you can bring together 22 or 24 Christians together and we can share in the pleasure and scary parts of that trip like we had known each other forever.  Just wanted to let you know what an amazing time I had, how I am still processing certain parts of it and how much fun it was, and your staff treated us like royalty!  You have an awesome crew and we all can't wait to come back up for another trip!”
