Text Box: Dave Conley, Director of Wilderness Adventures, Master Maine Guide Dave Conley has been directing the Living Waters Wilderness Adventure program since it started in 1988. He is a graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA., He is a Registered Master Maine Guide, a Maine Certified Wilderness Trip Leader Instructor, a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association. Dave is a veteran of nearly 200 outings in Maine and Canada. For the past five years, Dave has developed and taught a curriculum for a credited Outdoor Education program at the local East Grand High School. Additionally, he works with numerous other schools throughout Northeastern Maine, where he teaches outdoor living and paddling skills. He guides students in overnight and extended outings, including winter camping and canoe trips. . Text Box: Tammi Matula A graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, Tammi is a veteran of over 40 outings and is returning for her 9th summer. In the ‘off season’, Tammi works for New Horizons, a outdoor therapy program for at risk girls. Tammi is also a Registered Maine Guide, a very dedicated worker and her enthusiasm and love for the Lord are contagious. A ‘product’ of our LIT summer long program, Tyler is returning for his 4th summer and will be certified as a Wilderness Trip Leader for the 2008 season. When it comes to leading & teaching, Tyler is a real natural. He is great with the campers, and gets things done. We look forward to his return!
