Text Box: Customized Group Outings Financial Agreement & Registering a Group Maine Group Outing Payment Schedule & Guidelines. For Outings from 2-4 days, calling in early and securing your desired trip & dates for your group is recommended and doing so without a deposit is fine. At least 3 months prior to the outing, we will need a $75.00 deposit per person to secure your trip & desired dates. This deposit (Except for $100.00) is refundable up until 30 days prior to your trip. Although we do not require the balance until the day of the trip, two weeks and sooner full payment will be required for any no shows. Example, If you have made a commitment to 12 at least 30 days prior to your outing, and only 10 show up without at least a two week notice, full payment for 12 will be required. We strongly encourage you as the group leader to have your group members make a financial commitment by turning in a *non refundable deposit/amount to you early enough so you can forward it to us at least 30 days prior to the trip. Your group members will need to be committed for the full amount at least two weeks prior to the outing so in the event they do not make the outing, you as the group leader are not stuck with paying for someone else’s deposit & total trip amount. Outings longer then 4 days require a $100.00 deposit, which is non-refundable 30 days prior to your trip and a commitment to make full payment two weeks prior to the outing. Be sure to have each member of your group fill in a Camper Health Record completely including a complete mailing address and send to us at least one week in advance of your trip so we have time to review and make copies of. Customized Group Outings to Canada: The deposit and payment policy is the same as for scheduled outings to Canada. *Note: Due to the planning, commitment to specific dates, commitment of leaders & staff, securing equipment, supplies and purchasing of food, deposits are not refundable but are transferable only to a person taking their spot when it does not reduce the overall size of the group.
