Text Box: The Trip: A 3-4 day outing by canoe in the Moosehead and East Outlet to Indian Pond Region. Spend two days on Moosehead Lake, followed by whitewater canoeing down the East Outlet to Indian Pond. A great outing for groups up to 25 in number. Campsites are primitive with outhouse sor out boxes. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table. Note: While this is a beautiful area, keep in mind you will see a lot of powerboat activity. Additionally, the wind on such a large body of water can cause a change in plans in a real hurry! Contact Myles Hanson, who has brought large groups of father/teens on this trip in the past with Living Waters. You can also read his testimonial concerning this trip.
