Text Box: Teen Leadership Program (LITs) Level II LIT Summer Long Level II LIT Program For ages 15-17, Mid June through Mid August, (8+ weeks). These teens may have participated in the level I LIT program and or are returning to take part as LITs for the duration of the summer. Along with working on in-camp projects, Level II LITs will assist with the planning, packing, leading and clean up of scheduled & group outings throughout the summer. (Contact us for special pricing for all summer LITs) Level III LIT Summer Long Level III LIT For ages 18 and up and who have been involved with the level II LIT program. These teens will receive training and certification in CPR, First Aid, life guarding, and a trip leader training course (an in camp course providing extensive training as required by the State of Maine in order to become a Certified Trip Leader and lead trips with youth.) These adult leaders will have the opportunity to co lead trips with a more seasoned wilderness trip leader. Upon successful completion of the summer, level III leaders will receive $500.00 for their involvement. Our Goals with the Summer Long LIT Program: It is our goal through the program to assist in the development of future Christian leaders not only for the wilderness program but for your church and community. Some may choose to raise support for our Level II Program: While some individuals may choose to pay for the LIT program on their own, we encourage others to take a short term missions trip approach to raising the necessary funds through their local church. We believe your church will support such an endeavor that focuses in on producing Christian leaders. Contact us for input on fund raising efforts.
