LIT Week
June 29– July 5, 2008 
ages 13-15 
cost $295.00 

A one week program, for boys and girls ages 13-15 who desire to learn lots of outdoor skills while having the time of their lives! Spend a week with our wilderness summer staff, learning lots of skills in and out of camp, including an overnight canoe trip on the nearby Saint Croix River. 
Note: A great trip for previous Junior Survivor campers and first timers. 

In camp you will learn (with lots of hands on!): 
- How to plan and pack for a trip
- Proper use of equipment
- Basics of canoeing
- Introduction to fly casting
- How to share a devotional
- Climbing Tower
- Map & compass
- Knots and their uses
- Bushwhack (compass hike)
- Bike jumping into   East Grand   Lake!

Out of camp (on the St. Croix) you will put into practice:
- Canoeing Skills
- Campsite management
- Cooking over an open fire
- Poling
- Intro. to class II-III  rapids
	
   As a result of this week, some Teens, 15-17 years old, may be invited to return another season and take part in our summer long LIT Program!
