Sturdy duffel bag, or dry bag to put your gear in
Small day pack or dry bag to keep things handy in while canoeing
Sleeping bag (three season weight, compact & packable)
Sleeping pad
2 Warm wool sweaters, or synthetic (fleece) pullovers for cold, damp days and cool evenings
Old sweatshirt or warm long sleeve shirt.
Old sneakers with good traction for swimming, wading, and canoeing.  See note on footwear.
Quality 2 piece rain suit (Packable suit or poncho)
Wool or felt hat in case of cold or rainy weather
Windbreaker
Shoes for hiking and around camp use
2 quick drying pants (wind pants & fatigues work best)
4 pair cotton socks
2 pair wool socks
4 cotton T-shirts
6 underwear
1 quick drying towel
2 pair shorts
1 quick drying swim suit
Hat with visor (sun)
1 or 2 bandannas
Sunblock
Sunglasses
Insect Repellent
Small flashlight (extra batteries)
Compass
Small inexpensive bible (Old & New Testament)
Personal toiletries, toothpaste and brush, deodorant, small bottle of biodegradable shampoo. (Travel or trial size containers only)
25 foot light rope or cord (use as a clothes line or tying your gear in the canoe.)
Small amount of cash for a soda, souvenirs & a meal at McDonalds on the way back to camp.
Several extra, tough trash bags
A few gallon size zip lock bags to waterproof small items
Pocket Knife
