Text Box: Choosing Your Approach How will a pilgrimage trip benefit our group once we are back home? Throughout the trip, participants are challenged through thought provoking questions and bible study to consider and discover how the scriptures apply to their lives. Your trip leader will organize a time of group discussion at the end of the trip. It is a great setting for internalizing the experiences and the scriptural lessons learned on the trip. The rest is up to you. You will want to have a discussion with your group to develop a game plan for how to best implement lessons learned from the trip back in your local church, as well as in their everyday personal lives. The wilderness experience becomes a potential springboard for you to continue to reinforce and refine leadership skills and group cohesiveness in your home church.
